About the Project

  1. Technology Stack: Built on WordPress (as indicated by the footer “WordPress Theme by OceanWP”) using a responsive theme integrated with event listing and group features. The site uses standard web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and plugins for event filtering, user registration, and ride creation.
  2. Operations Management: Acts as a community / event platform focusing on group rides. It lets users browse upcoming events, create new rides, filter events by distance, date, or category, and manage group participation.
  3. Relationship Management: Builds social engagement among users through features like user registration / login, group creation, event participation, and “Group Riding Safety” content. Users can connect by joining rides and groups with shared interests.
  4. Business Data Management: Manages data such as:
    • Event listings (ride name, date, location, category filters)
    • User profiles, groups, and membership data
    • Event creation submissions and filtering parameters
    • Search queries (distance, tags, sorting by date) and user-generated filters
  5. Admin Panel: The WordPress backend likely includes:
    • Management of events, categories, and tags
    • User and group management (approve / block members)
    • Theme and plugin configurations, SEO and site settings
    • Moderation of event submissions and user content
  6. Modular Architecture: The site is modular: core WordPress plus plugins or custom modules for events, filtering, group management, and user registration. This modularity allows adding future features like messaging, ratings, or maps without redoing the core.
  7. Free and Easy to Use: The user interface is straightforward: event filters, clear “Create a Ride!” and “Groups” menu items, search tools, and simple navigation. Administrators and users alike can manage content or interactions with minimal technical training.
